Laura Berglund is an award-winning designer and art director in New York, offering seamless design thinking across branding, editorial, packaging, and interactive design, centered around a strong visual concept.
Currently, she is working full time as senior designer at Pentagram in New York, with partner Emily Oberman.
Previously she has worked at Paperless Post, Hyperakt, Design Army, and Design Ranch.
Laura was named one of Print Magazine's New Visual Artists of 2015. Her work has been recognized in Communication Arts, the Print Regional Design Annual, HOW Magazine, Society of Publication Designers, AAF, DC Ad Club, AIGA, Kansas City Ad Club, The Pivot Design Conference, Design Observer, Under Consideration, and Behance.
Clients include Warner Brothers, Film Independent, Lovevery, Planned Parenthood, Snoop Dogg, Jimmy Fallon, Bloomingdale's, MoMA, The United Nations, UNICEF, The One Club, The City of New York, and AIGA.
Recently she was invited to be a designer alongside Michael Beirut, Paula Scher, and more of Laura's design heroes as part of the Lolita cover project by John Bertram. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design from the Kansas City Art Institute.
